Is this program right for you?
Anyone can join. Not everyone can be prescribed.
The following may affect whether a provider can prescribe GLP-1 therapy for you. You can still join the program either way — your provider will confirm what's possible for you at your consult.
- A BMI under 27
- Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC)
- Personal history of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2)
- Known hypersensitivity to semaglutide, tirzepatide, or related formulation ingredients

Your medication, if prescribed
Medication is not included in your membership. If GLP-1 therapy is prescribed, it's a separate add-on cost billed by MedSmart Pharmacy, typically ranging from $199 to $299 per month.
How you pay
Direct payment. No insurance.
This program doesn't accept insurance — you pay directly for your membership and, if prescribed, your medication. One exception: patients who qualify for the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program may have a different payment path for their prescription. Bridge Program eligibility is discussed at your initial consult.

Is this covered by insurance?
No. This program does not accept insurance — that applies to both the monthly membership and the GLP-1 prescription add-on. There's one exception: patients who qualify for the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program may have a different payment path for their prescription. Bridge Program eligibility is discussed at your initial consult.
What if I don't qualify for a prescription?
You still have a provider, a plan, and monthly clinical support. Anyone can join the program — the criteria on this page affect whether GLP-1 therapy specifically can be prescribed, not whether you can enroll. Your provider will walk you through what's possible for you.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime. Cancellation is self-service — no phone call required, and there's no long-term contract to get out of.
Where do visits take place?
All CarePath Wellness visits are televisits — you'll meet with your provider by secure video from home, work, or anywhere with a reliable connection. No office waiting room required.
Is the medication included in the membership?
No. Your membership covers provider access: the initial consult and ongoing monthly clinical support. If GLP-1 therapy is prescribed, the medication is a separate add-on cost billed by MedSmart Pharmacy — not included in the membership price.
